Through a variety of dispute resolution and co-parenting services, I can help you navigate your separation or divorce and create a healthy co-parenting relationship post divorce. I am compassionate and skilled in managing strong emotions and keeping clients focused on resolution and problem solving.
Domestic, Family and Divorce Mediation
Years of experience in litigation and settlement negotiations allow me to quickly identify a client’s needs and interests, which leads to effective and efficient mediation. I focus on helping separating or divorcing parents set themselves and their children up for success with a workable, personalized parenting plan.
Mediation/Arbitration
This dispute resolution process saves time and money. I work with clients to first mediate the conflict and then switch to the arbiter role if mediation is unsuccessful. Parents determine the scope of the arbiter’s decision making authority.
Court appointed Parenting Coordinator (PC), Decision Maker (DM) or Parenting Coordinator/Decision Maker (PCDM)
With parental consent, the court appoints me to serve in one of these three roles. As a PC, I can help you improve communication, implement your parenting plan and build a healthier co-parenting relationship. As a DM, I can make decisions for parents on matters over which you give me authority. A PCDM combines both roles. All these services help keep parents out of court, prevent stagnation, reduce conflict, and focus on the children’s best interests. They are cost effective, faster, less adversarial, and more targeted than litigation.
Certified New Ways for Families Program Coach
I use this online communication tool with a coaching component for parents in high conflict. It was created by leading international thought leader Bill Eddy of the High Conflict Institute.
High Conflict Divorce Mediation Program
Through my training at the High Conflict Institute, I developed a new program to support parents prior to meditating their divorce or going to court. I also offer guidance and support after the divorce so parents can help their children transition to having two families. This program provides training in communications, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and more, which leads to better outcomes for families.
